Seatbelt chime disable on start

By Habit / muscle memory, I always start the car and then put on my seatbelt. So I coded a few things including disable of driver seat belt chime (ABG: SBR_FAHRER_1). That works if you remove it while driving but it still 'gongs' four times when starting the car. Is there any way to fix that?

Are you sure it's the seat belt gong and not the key in ignition gong when doors are open?

Btw, did you also set CC_GURTWARNUNG_1 to nicht_aktiv?

Yah forgot to mention I also coded the disable chime when key in but door is open (KOMBI: CC_ZUENDSCHLUESSEL). I didn't do anything for the one you mentioned. I'll see if that shows up in the ABG module. Thanks, hopefully thats it.

Yeah I just had coding done on my E92 where they coded out the seat belt chime. I like it. However, when I go to start the car, if my seatbelt is not fastened before I start the car I still get 3 'gongs' upon start-up. I don't think it use to be this way before I did the coding. I can't remember for certain.

Hello. I have 2008 BMW 320 (e90). My problem is with seatbelt and airbag light when someone sit in passenger seat.. Dealer didnt go for a recall mat sensor so i found another solution, to buy a bypass emulator, to keep the computer to think that seat is always occupied. Everything worked fine, until someone was sitting there, in moment when noone was there - seatbelt light is on and that stupid noise to put on seatbelt.. I found a code to remove that seatbelt chime (SBR_BEIFAHRER_1 and set it to nicht_aktiv in ABG module with NCS Expert..) Okey, the sound is now gone, but the light is still on while noone is there. I dont want to always put in passenger seatbelt while im driving alone to get rid of the seatbelt light, so i wanted to ask is there some kind a code to disable that seatbelt light? Every help would be appreciated.

yes, there is, find aline with OC3 in it and set to nicht_aktiv, then disconnect a mat sensor, a connector under the passanger's seat. Next move it to clear a code using INPA. That's it, no more light on your dash.

I found a line OC3_1 and GK/OC3/POL but those lines are already set to nicht_aktiv by default...

mat sensor is already disconnected, and in its place i put bypass emulator to keep the computer thinking that seat is occupied.

Is there another way to disable that light?

Emulator is not necessary, are you sure you have a mat disconnected? There are two connectors under the seat, did you clear codes in INPA?
set this line to nicht_aktiv too SBE1_1_CD

I disconnected only the little black one and connected to its place emulator. Now everything is fine, computer thinks that seat is always occupied, but when noone is sitting there, computer thinks, that seat is occupied and asks to put on seatbelt, when someone is sitting there and puts on seatbelt, then seatbelt light goes off and everything is fine. So now when i drive alone i put passengers seatbelt in buckle and light goes off.

Do i need to clear codes in INPA if car doesnt show any faults?
Okey, i`ll set this line too to nicht_aktiv.
