stereo feedback?

Still loving the car but all these little rattles and squeeks are annoying the living crap out of me.

Has anyone else had a VERY faint intermittent feedback sound coming from their car? Solutions?

Is this when you are plugged in to the Aux input? If so mine started faint and got progressively worse. Now its to the point where its non-functional.

feedback as in hiss? or whine? or a solid tone? Describe it better for us.

Your AUX port is not working well? Get some electrical contact cleaner (from Radio Trap or Home Depot) and spray a bit on the end of your cable (male end) and plug it in to the AUX port. Remove - insert several times.

Don't soak the AUX port, spray on the male jack and keep inserting, twisting, removing and reinserting. This will clean the contacts on the cheap jack BMW procured for our cars. Should help resolve the issue for 6 months or maybe more.

Also a good idea to buy a quality shielded cable to connect to your AUX device. Here's a very good cheap one, comparable to the $20 cable sold by Apple.

Yeah been there and done that. Helped a little, but not for long and not all the way. Evidently Lucas is still making electronics for BMW for their Aux ports.
