Beyond easy.
3 bolts and a wire and they slide right out and you'll repeat the steps for the LCI tail's but with an additional step of connecting an additional wire harness into the existing and then that into the tail lights. You'll probably need to do mild adjustments to the new lights to make them flush with the three bolts and little knobs but it's very simple. |

Isn't a 2010 an LCI model? Or do you mean LED Tails? Those would fit just like existing tails, but would need coding after installation.

2010 and under = pre, 2011 and up = lci.
I'm also looking for a write up or solid info thread actually. Good timing. So in a pre-lci e93, all you need to do is order e93 lci tail lights, and they fit perfectly and all? What is this wire harness that you are talking about? Also I heard that some kind of coding needs to be adjusted to fix an error that comes up. Last edited by Ohai2uFTW; 05-12-2013 at 03:56 PM.. |

Installation is pretty easy, less than 10 minutes. 3 bolts on each side. Just have to get it coded otherwise the turn signals will hyperblink and lights will randomly strobe on startup.
