USB HDD / Key + Playlist?
How do you create a playlist that the car will read from an external USB drive? I'm copying my entire iTunes library onto a USB HDD and would like a playlist or two too - presuming m3u - but not sure how. Export from iTunes as m3u I assume, but what paths do I need to change in the file?
Thanks. |

Or perhaps not. It works fine like that in the Mac but not on Windows. I'm expecting the car to be more Windows than Unix so have made an alternate that looks like this:
#EXTINF:323,Shoot To Thrill - AC/DC AC_DC\Live\02 Shoot To Thrill.m4a I've also realised that 500GB is overkill - my library is only 80GB - I had purged a lot a while back that I knew I'd NEVER listen to. I've stuck another 20GB of music videos on there, just because I can. However the HDD was only £35 on ebuyer - same price as all those dodgy 160GB refurb drives shady sellers are selling on Amazon. |
