E90 lower grills w/o finisher rods?
A search revealed a couple of DIYs for creating custom mesh lower grills to eliminate the finisher rods. I am too lazy to commit that much time and effort. Does anybody know if there is a plug-and-play alternative to making custom lower grills, short of upgrading to a whole new bumper? Is there no aftermarket company manufacturing lower grills for the stock pre-LCI E90 that eliminates the finishing rods?
Thanx to anyone who can suggest an alternative!

The only ones that I'm aware of are the "Race Mesh" replacements. Not my thing really, like you I wish they had stock-style ones that you didn't have to dremel out to remove the rods!

I plasti dipped my middle one because all I have to do if push up on it and it comes off unlike the sides. Either way if u want new grill bumper should come off so u dont scratch the side much easier

Thanks everybody. I'm amazed no vendor has produced something so simple. I'd like to completely eliminate the rods rather than just change their color, so I guess I'll keep looking for a solution.
Thanx again, and please chime in if you stumble upon this thread and know of an easy replacement.
