Pulled the Trigger

Ok you guys I know it's F30/31, but as I am a "Bit" exited I thought I would share my news.
This October I am getting the new LCI updated M5 fully loaded.

I have played around dealerships and finally got the deal I feel is very good.
So as an Old tosser I thought I would "Push the boat out" and enjoy prohaps my last real flying machine. Best regards J

PS) enjoyed the banter and will keep in touch.

Wow fantastic news , you will be

from ear to ear, if like me it takes a year to decide on new motor , that was quick.
Now does that mean there will be a good deal going on some 18" black winter wheels or do they fit the M5

Despite I have an F30 M Sport I always loved and probably preferred the F10 M Sport(couldn't convince my wife as for town use pretty big car and she drives it mostly) but having the M5 now that's what you call the real deal. I bet you wouldn't mind skipping summer now

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you! Probably because I walk past my neighbour's EB F10 M5 several times a week lusting after it!!

Anyway, sure you're going to have heaps of fun with it. Good luck (and torment us with some pics)

A friend of mine has a leased F10 M5 in grey with red leather - my 330d MSport is going to look a bit like a mini-me in the same colour scheme.

I'm a big fan of the F10, and the M5 is so much more of a usable proposition than the E60 M5; excellent choice!

Akra with carbon tips

Warranty was all that stopped me doing it on the M3... but I'm now glad - think the M performance one sounds better. Don't think they do one for the M5?

So what has a year's depreciation been like on the 330d ?

That was my argument with the MD at my dealer, the DTM M3 car runs an Akra... so it's obviously ok for BMW as such

There is that link already. He said it may be ok. Evolve motorsport said it has never caused any issues... but it wasn't a risk I wanted to take for nothing more than a sound change in real terms. But having since heard both I prefer the BMW M Performance exhaust for the M3 over the Akra.

M5 - no idea, the one I had for a bit was just the standard exhaust... and sounded pretty nice.

Nice to see a competition package for the M5 though. What does that option cost?
