Turn signal issues
Back in November I had an issue with my right front turn signal where the socket burnt out. I had it replaced and there were no further issues for a while.
Fast forward to last month, signal is throwing malfunction errors, I check and sure enough, the socket is burnt out. I replace it, but still seeing the malfunction errors. I pulled the socket and it's just fine.. but I noticed that something looked off where the socket was pulled from. Looks like the housing (or whatever term we want to use..) is melted/burnt out. See below: So, I'm assuming at replacing the housing. Is it possible to get away with replacing any individual parts, or am I looking at replacing the entire head lamp unit? Thanks all.. |

Headlamp?
Hello iCraig, what did you do at the end? Did you have to replace the headlamp? Or were you able to find another fix? I have exactly the same problem, I took it to BMW once and they changed the light bulb. At the end they told me that I needed to replace the headlamp. I am curious to know what you did.
