Yes. Dealer has quoted £1300 to fit. Increases torque. No warranty issues.

Sounds promising , torque 100 extra sounds great , and torque curve big , bet this could be done with remap , but then worry re warranty the problem

Garage List
£1,300 (plus additional insurance cost) for 0.2s

(Sorry, as someone who's had a BMW diesel remapped before I'm a fine one to talk, but couldn't resist that)

It does sound interesting, I think that I would have to finish running in the engine before contemplating it. I wonder how it would affect ones insurance?

Half way to a 335D in performance, and same power as an E36 M3. Sounds like a good deal to me

Regarding insurance, if done by dealer, they often don't make much difference, I'm going to be finding out now My PPP kit on the Subaru Sti made about £40 a year difference and that was about 40bhp.

Most interesting. I think I might go for the kit that provides the power/torque increase.

So now my shopping basket has the Quaife @ £1465 and the Power Kit @ £1300. Total = £2765. Whatever next?

Stop it, stop it! I can't control myself. But I must, I must, somehow ..... or as the topless model said, 'I must, I must increase my bust!'

i usually like modified but im struggling to think of a time when i thought this could do with more power, most of the time if laras driving i wish it had 300 torques less, cant help think if you want to go faster put the money into a gt2 or if you want to modify something, mk2 escort with 500bhp would do

YEP it does.
Once you have run it in and driven it hard you will find it lacking, especially loaded with 4 people in it.
Needs a remap or another 60BHP minimum.
