Option to protect under your front bumper!?

So I recently scraped my front bumper somewhere I dont even know and I never want it to happen again and I found some options to protect underneath the front bumper.
I did some research and people use Body Molding/Trim and stick it under the front bumper and it seems to solve everything!

What do you guys think..... ??

I'd rather scratch the bumper and get it fixed. That would look awful, sorry. I can also say, this should not be a regular issue. Get it fixed and pay attention... Not sure how you scrape your FRONT bumper without knowing about it. What are you looking at when you drive??

I scraped my MSport lower 'nostril' (not sure what to call the lowest part of the MSport bumper) on the passenger side recently too. Sucked. Pulled into a parking space too far and rubbed up on the curb. Other than me, no one would probably notice it but it does take some getting used to driving this car which sits lower than my previous Legacy GT. I will try to fix it with some touchup paint. I'm not going to add anything cause I hate the way external protection looks, even clear bras. I learned my lesson and I've promised myself it won't happen again.

Seems like a solution to another problem. Learn to better judge where your car is. Don't pull so far up to curbs...or back in. This reminds me of folks that routinely bump the cars in front of and behind them when parallel parking.

I have a msport bumper and the scratches are under the center portion of the bumper (weird because its higher than the sides). I know for sure it wasn't a parking issue, so maybe it was from speed bumps at my schools or going down dips. For those who say it will look horrible, you can't really see it bc its under and it will be in your car's paint color also. This is the best idea I've seen people do so far.

Best method is to get and use the front cameras religiously. It shows a line that will show you exactly where the front of the car is (and give you a 6" safety margin). I use it every time - it's easier than replacing the bumper once in a while.

Front cameras? You mean the ones on the sides of the bumper by the wheels, or the ones under the mirrors?

Side view cameras won't show the parking bumper in front of you but may show the spots next to you so you can use as judgement (assuming no car is parked there).

Top view cameras work better when backing in. They have a blind spot forward of front wheels and the image is quite distorted in front.

Unless you've got a backup camera.

Could be. Camera adds another level of confidence backing in.

Rear bumper is higher, however you still must be careful. I have seen 3 series where someone backed into a spot and they hit their muffler pipes. That can be an expensive repair.

I meant back in as opposed to parking head in. People automatically undershoot when backing since they're less confident than they are pulling forward. The rear valence is also much higher than the front.
