This came out of My black 2007 335I sedan, at 100K miles. The folding mechanism is inoperable, but every other aspect of this mirror is intact. The Electric mirror is functional (Glass can be moved into any position from the inside of the vehicle), as is the auto dimming feature. The Mirror is at a set point (Just past mid way), and is clicked into this position. The buy has to use it in this position, as it can be easily be moved in any other position. Perfect for someone in a car without the auto folding feature, or some one looking for parts like; a new mirror glass, mirror housing cover, electric mirror motor, etc. The Entire item is in very good condition with minor cosmetic issues. The worst of which is corrosion on the metal piece which is shown in on of the pictures. This part costs $800 new from the dealership.
