BMW Convert (current A4 owner)
Hi Guys
Another Audi A4 owner here - although not an S4 (09 - 3.0 Tdi Quattro - soon to be for sale if anybody interested!). Just ordered: BMW 3 Series Diesel Saloon 330d Xdrive M Sport 4Dr Step Auto With: 19" M Star spoke alloy wheels - Style 403M Brushed aluminium trim with black high gloss finish Dakota leather – Black Full black panel display Hi-fi loudspeaker system Individual sun protection dark tinted glazing for rear window and rear side door windows Metallic - Mineral grey Storage Compartment pack - 3 Series Saloon I know options is a personal taste thing and looked at Sat Nav / Adaptive suspension but run out of budget and always favour large engines over spec! Drove a standard spec susp 320i x drive and pretty happy with it to be honest (Audi doesn't really handle just grips!)... Estimated delivery date is end of June. Looking forward to a change - Audi has been a great car but always fancied a BMW! |

Nice motor. I'd love to try the 330d Xdrive.
And the big engines vs. gadgets thing. I know exactly what you mean. I was lucky and managed to get both (right place, right time) but it's the performance that puts a smile on my face not being able to Google from the car. That said, ditch a couple of those and get the Visibility Pack. It's excellent |

Welcome, lots of Audi drivers flocking to xDrive it seems.
I wouldn't bother with adaptive suspension, but then again I wouldn't bother with xDrive either. AWD makes an Audi, but doesn't bring much to the party on a BMW. Good luck with the purchase and sale of the Audi |

Nice. Make sure to add the Sport Auto - it's only £150 and adds paddle shifters and sport+ mode. If you can stretch the other £200, the HK audio is a worthy upgrade. I'd take the vis pack over 19s just for the rings, but it's all personal.
Enjoy. |

Just asking the question. But why are you getting the 19's then. If anything the Vis pack is more functional than the 19's

Just like the look of the 19's - personal choice that's all really. Also think because of the increased ride height it hides the gap a bit better. I guess I spend more time looking at the wheels then the headlights - plus as said I don't really drive much at night so wouldn't really miss the function. Be boring if everyone had the same options |

Haha, yeah sometimes you just have to say, well I want it thats why
To hell with having to justify it logically to everyone on here. 19's do look good though, won't say anymore than that. If anything though ,18's or 19's, most of us agree that the Xenons do look better, especially the DRLs. And I wont say anymore than that!
