Modified cars in Italy

Hello all..
For modified cars, are laws strict in Italy as it is in Germany???
I am scheduled to land in Aviano, Italy early November and was wondering how much aftermarket parts i can put on withought going through any trouble. Thnx in advance and have a great day

P.S are there any good tuning shops in italy???
