My dealer phoned this afternoon to say my car had gone to build this week 37 a week ahead of schedule and will be arriving week 40 or possibly before ,i cant wait .

325 d msport
sparkling graphite
leather
xenons
new auto box with paddle shift
grey top tint
folding mirrors

black lines on order from german dealer

i get all excited when people get there new cars cuz it just reminds me of when i picked up the 335d

Wonder if I should call the dealer in the morning as mine was due build week 36 and delivery expected week 40. Would mean that I would get it week 39......... sounds good to me lol

Yes, call them. Mine was build week 36, comes into dealer on the 19th and collect on the 22nd.

I was originally told early October, so it is all well ahead of schedule.

i originally placed an order in july for a 318d, then when the efficientDynamics was announced, i asked my dealer to wait till they could be ordered.
i further changed my order on the 4th of sept, to a 320d msport.
At this point i was told that i may have to wait upto week 45!!
or sooner.

But my invoice for the changed order is showing 28/sept ...
is this likely to happen?

when did you place your orders? to get these dates.
if near the first week of sept, are you still ordering the efficientDynamic models?
the reason i ask that is i was offered a 07 version to be delivered much earlier...

Hi my first order was early july,I then read about new engines and spec so asked dealer to make sur my car was a 08 spec and id be happy to pay the prie increase,Date for del then went back 1 month from week 34 build to week 38 but now its actually being built week 37 and i was told its very likely to arrive for sept del but i think ill wait till 1st oct due to road tax ,They can def register it in sept if they want but i want it taxed from 1st oct i hope this helps

E92 325d build week 36, delivery confirmed 27/9 for 29/9 hand over at the dealer.
Still don't understand why it is taking longer than others on the forum for a same week build!!!!
