Leather Scent
Although I hate to admit it, the leather quality in the F30 is not quite up to snuff with Audi, namely that which is found in the A6. At least not in the "new car leather smell." A co-worker of mine has a 2012 A6 and everytime I ride in it, I think to myself "wow, the leather in this car smells amazing."
Perhaps I've just become acclimated to my car's "smell" but I wish there was a way to enhance the leather scent in my car. Does anyone have any experience with a good leather air freshener? Not one of those than dangles from the rear view mirror either... |

Poorboy's have a leather cleaner/conditioner that have a "new leather" scent to it. I used it religiously on my old Mustang and i thought it was pretty good.
Another good smelling product is Einszett Leather Care Lederpflege. It doesn't have a leather smell to it but rather a "clean" scent. It's really hard to explain. |

The A6 would be more on par with the 5 series in price-range. Maybe it's just me, but when I sat in a new F10 it smelled more "luxurious" than the 3 series.
As for that leather smell, I still enjoy the smell of my new car, but once/if it goes away I'm not going to bother to try to "artificially recreate" it. I like neutral smells while driving. I really hate it when I hop in someone else's car and it reeks of air freshener. |

Another vote for Zaino Z10. All Zaino products, too.

When I got my car, a 335i, the in-car smell was much more potent than when a friend of mine got his 320i. Not sure if it was just the endowment effect, or if it was really that much more potent, but it really was a fantastic scent!

Groits leather care smells like the leather you would find in a cows colon, terrible smell, had to go buy another product to cover it up, dunno why people like the brand so much, personal tastes i guess
