Cruise Control Won't Set, intermittent
So, ocassionally, seeems like it's when I'm on a long distance journey, the cruise control will not set. When I pull the lever, 3 dashes show up like so, ---, where the speed would normally be indicated. I do not have the DTC on or anything like that. It's not active cruise control. I have a 6MT. I'm not sure why it ocassionally does this. Possibly related, I have a dash warning of a light our, but I've never seen this light out anywhere on the exterior of the car. Any suggestions, I'm a bit baffled at the moment, as I've tried searching the issue and I've seen no one with this issue repeated, unless they're DTC was on.

Check your fuses, they are number 9 and 22. If not my guess would be the cruise control module which was a big problem on earlier 3's and 5's.

I'll check them, but it probably won't be the issue, as the problem is intermittent. I'll research the cruise control module. They seem cheap,
~$130. I'll have to see how easy they are to install.
