Wacky lock/unlock and mirror fold

All, A few minutes ago, while I was rinsing the non-stop pine pollen off of my '06 330i, something mildly wacky happened. While I was rinsing off the drivers door, the car locked and unlocked itself. I thought "...hmm..that's comfort access acting up because water is hitting the sensor." Then, the mirrors folded themselves in and then unfolded themselves while I was rinsing the hood, and the doors unlocked and locked themselves again. This happened a few more times, and I thought "Are the keys in my pocket pressing up against something that's making the car unlock and relock itself?" No, they're just sitting there without any pressure on them. The windows were sealed tight, as was the roof.

What's up with the folding and unfolding trick? My car isn't programmed to do this; I have to press the fold button to get them to perform. And, they don't do this when taking the car through an automatic car wash.

Do I have a gremlin? If so, is this common?

Mine does that if I wash it with the keys in my pocket. I think it's because the water is hitting the sensors. With CA, if you hold you finger on the door handle and the car locks and then you continue to press the handle, after a few seconds the mirrors will fold in. Then when you unlock it, the mirrors will fold back out. So, I think it's probably the water hitting different sensors and triggering the lock/unlock and mirror fold in/out.

Garage List
My car flaps like a bird when I wash it myself. I've realized that it's better to just leave the key elsewhere while you're washing.

There wouldn't happen to be a way to temporarily disable CA, is there?

I just let it go and do what it's going to do. Yes 06 e90 could have CA.

I had CA on my 06 330i and my 08 M5. Mirrors did fold up on those cars with a longer "finger stay" on the door handle ridges. Unfortunately due to updated programming (09+?), my 11 335i won't fold the mirrors unless you press the interior button.

I got tired of having to keep the key far away when washing the car and found that if I leave it in the car I don't have any problems.
