Hi everyone. this is my first post as i am ordering my 08 335i sedan asap. But i am having some ordering issues, i'm hoping you guys can help me figure out. initially i wanted only sports package, black leatherette and 6MT. what my dealer is telling me is that BMW is not allowing that combination alone.

So tell me, if you can, how can i get sports package and 6mt? do i have to get the premium package or i can i simply get the leather upgrade and that will allow me to get 6mt. i'm sure my dealer will confirm, but i hes out right now and i figured you guys always have the answers.

and if all else fails, would you get 6mt without sports or sports and auto?? i really want the seats and steering wheel but i really dont like auto!!

thanks for any advice or info!! i'm sure i'll be hanging around quite a bit. I am coming from and audi and e46!!

1st off, your dealer sounds like he's full of shit and trying to get you to spend more money then you need to. I would ask to speak with the Sales Manager, and would also visit other dealers.

You should be able to get the car without any additional items if that's what you wanted. They're called "options" not "requirements". My 330i E90 only has ZSP and ZPP and I got the 6MT.
But definetely get the ZSP. The seats alone make it worth it.

As far as your question is concerned, I don't see why the dealer can't order a ZSP with a 6mt and leatherette

Def sounds like they are trying to get you to upgrade and spend more cash. The BMWUSA site just let me and the total was $41,850

figured it out. "apparently" there were issues with the BMW ordering site and it is being fixed. glad to say that i will have the car the way i want it!!
