Coding Help - North NJ

Hey All,
I got a cable from Amazon, and of course I can't get it to work. I have a 10/07 MY2008 335, and I keep getting the dreaded data transmission interrupted error. Installed everything on a 32bit version of Windows 7 (thought my install on the 64 bit was the culprit), but still no dice. Followed every DIY to the T that's out there. Here's the cable I got: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._ya_os_product.

Anyway, enough of the sob story.. I need to get a new battery and will need to register it (partially the reason why I have the cable in the first place). Once I get the battery, is anyone located in north Jersey (I'm in Morris County) to register it for me? At the same time, I'd like to use your cable in my laptop to see if I really have a faulty cable.

Thanks!

As a clarification, I'm looking for someone in the NJ area that has a cable that I'd be able to use. Will provide beer, wine, or whatever type of drink of choice (Jameson?). I don't need remote assistance configuring my laptop, since I'm 90% sure the fault is within the cable.

Help please

No problem, I just could take a look at your files, but if you are sure, that your cable is faulty it will be wasting of time.

Good luck!
