Suspension Control System Failed - covered by warranty?

Hi,

On my way home tonight the Suspension Control System Failed warning light came on!

A quick search has brought up some worrying results.... new ECU being one of them!

I purchased the car from a BMW dealer, so it comes with 1 year warranty. So would this be covered?

Also, I installed a M3 steering wheel at the weekend - this wont have caused any issues (I.e new wiring for the m3 paddles)..... I reckon not but thought i'll ask!

Is the car safe to drive, as I doubt I'll get it into a dealer tomorrow as I'll need a loan car!

Cheers

I've read it's probably the 'Steering angle sensor'? Can this be damaged effected by replacing the steering wheel?
