I love literal translations:
At the time of accelerator off boost pressure inside the piping loses the destination because you can close the throttle, returns to the turbocharger and because the action which uses the brake occurs, burden falling on the turbine shaft, becomes cause of trouble. Of course, genuine being in 335, the small-sized blow off valve of the plastic make it is installed, but when it supercharges highly with SSC, it becomes complete capacity insufficient. In order to cancel that perfectly, it is the case that it means to replace the blow off valve to dixis. The dixis super blow off valve is not to make retard simply, with feeling good sound, is the case that it bears also the function which protects the turbine the atmosphere by opening |

it'll affect the cars performance when the stock rubber diaphram bov's crack, leaks, and decide to take a shit on you... that seems to be the problem most of you guys on here dont understand. a good majority of you guys on here have procede, xede, turbo tuner or something that adds more boost so it will only be time till you guys realize it..

And you can go with piston style diverter valves instead, like the ones from Strat. I'm sure others will be out soon too, maybe from Forge or something. If the car came with DV's, it was for a reason. Just my thoughts.

Forge has already developed the DV for our cars, and they should be coming out soon. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79750

wow didn't even see that they have a oil cooler out. looks nice. but for oil cooler in think the dinan one would be better. direct fit and no problem. even dinan can't screw up a oil cooler lol.
and my bad about the gruppe m and dixis comment. didn't know why i even typed it in there. |

I didn't think there was one from Strat already? According to their website, it is still in development.

I love the whole "BMW saw fit to put it there so don't mess with it" argument. Well BMW also saw fit to put 4 cats, low boost, a flap valve on the drivers muffler, incandescent bulbs, etc... How many people have chopped out or changed these?

The DV's I'm talking about are not same as what BMW put on the car. The dv's are aluminum piston style. They are tougher, quicker, can handle more boost and still recirculate the air as the 335 was setup to do. The stick dv's are plastic diaphragm style and are prone to tearing in other applications especially under increased boost. I assume bmw and other manufacturers choose these over piston style since they are cheaper and require less maintenance. Bov's on the otherhand vent the air. In other applications where people have replaced dv's with bovs, some have run into lean conditions. I don't know if this has been tested on the 335. They make noise,. Not sure of any other benefit. btw, I have no idea what you are referring to with the kettle comment. |

I trip out on how everyone makes such a big deal over this BOV vs DV (non)issue! They both benefit the person who has increased their engines performance over stock and needs the extra strength. Neither is ricey if your car has the performance to back it up, whether its a turbo Integra or a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo.
Since either route will work with a 335i, the bottom line is this: If you like it quiet get a DV. If you like it loud get a BOV. Either way is the right way if it makes you happy!

You can tell that they are a JDM tuner from the color schemes that they choose. The BOV/vac lines make the engine bay look like the 335 that superman would drive. I'm allowed to say this since I had blue vac lines all over the place on my s2k.
