Help: 320si behaves weirdly
Hi, I'm calling upon the forum experts for this:
Today, my 320si started flashing the "check engine" light every time I venture above 4000 rpm in a high gear. It doesn't do it in 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear, only fourth and higher. While the light flashes the engine doesn't stutter or anything, but it doesn't seem to want to rev. The light then flashes for 20-30 seconds, then goes out until the next time I ask for power and rev over 4K. Apart from this, it seems to behave normally. Any ideas? Should I drive it a bit longer and see if and how much it re-occurs, or go the dealer tomorrow and have it checked asap? (As we all know, it probably won't do it when there's a mechanic along for the ride... ). Thanks in advance. |

Update: it's getting worse. Used the car for only a few km's this morning, and now, at any constant speed and throttle, in any gear, it kind of judders, for lack of a better word, back and forth. Doesn't throw a CEL however...
I'll have it checkes out asap. In the meantime, anyone an idea? |
