Would upgraded brake pads and fluid be sufficient for some light track use? Z4 3.0
I'm thinking of going to a trackday at Spa Francorchamps in October, and it would be my first time...
I know I need to get my brakes upgraded but don't know how far I'd need to go |

Just upgrade the fluid to like Motul RBF5.1 and stainless steel brake lines first. If you only once or twice a year then the OEM pads are fine. I have a buddy who runs OEM pads for the last 5 events and he is ok.

15 laps of the Nurburgring so far, the brakes seem to hold up quite well.
I've been doing 2 lap stints, after that the run flat tyres get quite warm too so I usually take a break |
