The Euro intake is available from ECS tuning for about $400 vs $800 for the performance intake. BMW claims 3hp iirc for the PE, not sure if the Euro offers the same. You get a neat CF piece with the PE and the connection between that piece and the intake cover is larger, suggesting more airflow. No intake is going to matter much (I have the Euro and it sounds a bit racier), some (most?) actually reduce power. Your choice of OEM is wise; although Dinan will rarely disappoint.

Quote:
1) US airbox, small filter size & charcoal filter ( most say you should cut out the charcoal filter) Cone filer -look up euro mod by dj apex 2) US BMP Intake ( new lid w/ end piece for sound to driver, snorkel, filter, new 1/2 box, retains charcoal filter side of the box) 3) Euro box, larger, cone style filter, no charcoal) 4) Euro BMP Intake ( new lid w/ end piece, snorkel, filter)
