Hey i just saw a spy pic and damn the 1series is getting the AUTO STICK from the 5 series...damn thats going to be cool, so that means the 2009 3 series will have it..gawd i hope it's no cost, like on the 5

that new stick offered on the 5series makes the current autostick so outdated...

Oh well...no difference to us stickshift guys.

Just an FYI, but that is the interior of the next Z4, not the 1-Series. Brookside @ 1 Addicts posted it as he is a current Z4 owner.

the new autostick looks cool but it feels kinda flimsy to hold...and shift with...I had a 08 528xi loaner with it and while it was pretty cool to use and it looked cool...I didn't like the feel.

actually that shifter is different than what would be on a 528. That is the shifter for the ZF sport automatic that will be on the new 6 and is optional on the 535 and 550. It is also the same transmission as the 335 auto.

I played with the 1 last week but it was a stick.
