Pic Request..Huper Optik tint...

Can people who have Huper Optiks tints please post some pics for me and tell me the percentage. The tint shop near me has 60-50-40-30% and I'm trying to decide between 30 and 40. I don't want it too dark, but not too light. OH and they quoted me $350 is that a good price? Thanks guys....

$350 for Huper is good. Here's our e92 with 30% Huper.

i got 40% all over and 50% front windshield.
350 is a good price.
i don't have any problem with visibility and would've rather got 30.
just look my name up for other threads and i got a couple more.

Someone just PM'ed me about this. Yeah that pricing is very aggressive...it's about $100 cheaper than what I normally see guys/gals being quoted for HO in the US.

The 40 looks dark enough, but that may be because you got the windshield done. Thanks for the pics.

HO 30 on black sapphire metallic.

Get the 30...I got my gf the 40 on her car, and it's a bit too light. Noticeable, but too light. You'll love it.

OH yeah, How does tint effect the auto dimming mirrors? I mean do the mirrors not dim as much after you tint it?

Thanks calvino, but the installer I want to use doesn't have 3M. Is the FX premium ceramic? I like how much heat the ceramic cuts out. Thats the reason I want to go with th HO.

I've never had an issue with my tint being scratched...unless you transport animals or girls pms'ing hard, I don't think it should be too much of a concern.

The most important thing is to find an AUTHORIZED HO dealer that has a lot of experience working with this film...from what I've been told and read, it's a very difficult film to work with because of it's layers and thickness. Good luck.

I think it's my pictures that makes it look dark but it really isnt. The 40 that i have is noticeable tinted but you can see right through the inside cept the rear windows which may look a little darker. If you see my other post, i have a rear shot of my car where it's light enough to see through the whole car.

HappyG's car is a good example for his 30. because my car is a little lighter than that. i guess it depends on the time of the day and angles. but i would've totally got the 30 and like mentioned above, go to a certified place that deals with ho tints because the tints are thicker than usual tints so its harder to work with.

Doesn't come in 35%. So it's 30 or 40% and I think I'm gonna go with the 30%. The installer I went and talked to is an HO authorized dealer/installer and has a lot of references on gdriver.com. I'll get pics when I have a chance to get it done. Thanks for all the help guys.

Oh yeah nobody ever answered if it affects the auto dimming mirrors a lot or not too much.
