Wanted: Pic of 328/325 with OEM Lip

I've searched a million different ways, and come up with a million different 335/330 with various lips. I would like to see a full frontal and perhaps 3/4 view of a 328 with an oem lip. Preferably a dark color, but beggars can't be chosers, now can they?

Thanks in advance......

Well your problem is the following....your request is too vague, thus your search is likely not narrow enough.

You are asking about OEM Lip...I am assuming you are interested in the Aero lip...which technically is only for the coupe (e92) and the vert (e93) in any format 328/335.

Your sig shows the sedan (e90). There is no Aero LIP for this. There is an Aerodynamic package which is a WHOLE bumper also referred to as the Mtech bumper. There are also front SPLITTERS which are 2 seperate add on pieces to the stock bumper. Either of these options fit any sedan (e90) and any wagon (e91) in any format (325/330/328/335 and all the xi).

Once you figure out which version you are interested in (everything I have described above is OEM)...then we can narrow down your search to the appropriate item.

Oh, then I guess I didn't know what I was asking for!!

I thought there was an oem bottom lip that goes across the entire bottom half of the bumper, but which is not the whole M tech bumper.

If there is no such single bottom lip, then I guess I am interested in seeing the splitters, on a 328 sedan. I know the same pieces might fit all e9x, but I am interested in only the 328, since the look would be different from the 335, as the rest of the bumper is different.

Thanks for your help.

I thought there was an oem bottom lip that goes across the entire bottom half of the bumper, but which is not the whole M tech bumper.

No OEM piece for the sedan like that. Only for the coupe. There is a aftermarket piece called the hartge lip that does go all the way across the stock sedan bumper.

If there is no such single bottom lip, then I guess I am interested in seeing the splitters, on a 328 sedan.

Yep...see the pics above. OEM front splitters for the sedan.

I know the same pieces might fit all e9x, but I am interested in only the 328, since the look would be different from the 335, as the rest of the bumper is different.

Again...some terms to clarify, otherwise you will get more confused.

1. 335 comes in sedan, coupe, convertible. So you can't really ask people to differentiate between 328 vs 335 when it comes to front bumper. Because you will get very different pictures if you get a 328 sedan or a 328 coupe or a 335 sedan or a 335 coupe. Do you see what I am getting at??

2. e9x. You can no longer just generalize like this b/c the e90 is the sedan and the e92 is the coupe and they are very different when it comes to body panels/cosmetic mods. It used to not matter because the wagon and the sedan had the same front...but now with the coupe (and the convertible), the cosmetic mods will be very different depending on which 3 series car you are referring to. So you do need to say e90 vs e91 vs e92 vs e93 to let people know which vehicle you are talking about when discussing cosmetic issues. On the other hand..if you are discussing engine or performance mods...then you need to differentiate between which model 328, 330, 335 b/c in general, it does not matter which body style it is.

I hope this helps clarify the confusion when looking at pics of other member's mods!

Good luck!

One last thing....DO NOT look at my car until you figure things out..or you will go bonkers thinking about it....hahah e90.2

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like such an idiot. That was me typing faster than my brain was thinking. I meant to differentiate between the sedan and the coupe, not the 328 and the 335. Honestly, I did know what I was talking about on that point, but didn't type what I meant. What I meant to say was "I am only interested in seeing lips for the sedan, since the look would be different from the coupe, as the rest of the bumper is different."

Though now that I've learned there is no such thing, the whole embarrassing point is moot!

hahha...no problem bro.

If you want a front lip and not a full bumper...think about the Hartge lip. Its very similar to what you are looking for-- I think.

Thanks, magmd. Those pics of the painted splitters really helps, esp. with Hartge lip to compare them with.
