Coming to Toronto
I'm going to drive up to Toronto for Labor Day weekend. Any meets or anything going on? Also, any suggestions for things to do are welcome as well.

Welcome to T.O.
There's Bimmercruise on Sept 9. Not aware of any others. Ctgazer might be able to fill in any he knows of.

Hahaha... good one! If there's anyone I'd trust with my car, it's you! However, I don't think I need a detail just yet, but when I do, I'll definitely give you a ring! If you want, we can meet up to see how my chips have turned out after some more tender care. Maybe you can give me some more tips

Any festivals or things of that nature going on? Any restaurants you guys highly recommend? I've been to Toronto quite a few times already, but each of those visits concentrates on eating The Chinese food up there is awesome! Some other activities I've done already include go-karting (if you guys are game, we can get together and meet up for a race or two ), Canada's Wonderland, and sightseeing around downtown.

Well the CNE is going on, but honestly I'd avoid that. I suppose it'd be alright if you planned on staying downtown for a whole day. Let me know where you'll be (in general) and I can probably recommend some stuff. I know most of the restaurants in the downtown area. Actually, I know an amazing Italian place on Queen, but it's a bit pricey. If you're in town with a lady friend it's well worth it though, since it's pretty much a guaranteed bj.

The CNE is on. You can take a very short helicopter ride from there for $35 a person to look at downtown from above. Been to the CN Tower yet? You can do the same and have a nice dinner and/or cocktail from there too.
Here is a pic of the CN Tower as seen from the CNE. (This is not new but I have to do it!)

Hahaha... I'm surprised she doesn't just fall over But yeah, I've been to the CN tower before. Great view and decent food. I may have to look into that helicopter ride - never been on one before!

if you want steak; harbour 60 pasta: scaremouche (finer dining), but go to the pasta bar side tomi-kri (funky on queen street east) in leslieville

http://www.nocerestaurant.com/italia...urant_noce.htm Some cliffs notes: Amazing food, even better wine, great service - usually the owner and his wife are there chatting with the diners. The porterhouse steak (for two) is fucking incredible. |
