Camber Plate Interest - Who Is In?

In order to preserve track tires on the F30 (ie., not cord them easily), we need camber plates. I have run Vorshlag camber plates in the past on an e36 M3 and they were great. (I also hear Ground Control is also good.) As long as you zero out the toe, the wear is not bad at all for street driving--even at 2.5 degrees. In addition to preserving tires on track, camber plates will make your car much faster around corners and assist in creating a more neutral hanlding car.

In order to coax the manufacturers into, hopefully, moving quicker on this, we need to demonstrate there is serious interest in camber plates for the F30. So, please post a reply if you are interested in camber plates for the F30!

I'm interested but would like to be able to purchase a coilover setup with the camber adjustable plates as a unit.

anybody have experience with these, or have them installed already?

On k-mac's site they show the same model for the e90 as the F30, are these really for the F30?

You know what? I checked the Tire Rack site to see if the E90 and F30 part numbers for their SPC brand camber plates are the same... they are.

The K Mac site is pretty convincing that their stuff is high quality and innovative. I'm going to research them some more as I've never heard of them.

Yeah, the stage 2 looks really tempting, I'm just worried with the confusion of 2012 and 2013 3'ers being both e90's and F30's and lack of EVERY camber plate company advertising compatibility for the F30 with their e90 parts that both of these might just be mistakes

It is my understanding camber plates for the F30 are proving to be an engineering challenge. Hopefully, a quality manufacturer will come forward with a quality product so we can all reap the benefits of some actual camber. When they do, I suspect there will be a lot of people interested---many of whom follow this forum but do not publicly post on track related items.

I've spoken to the OP and will be moving our F30 design up the priority list.

It IS a difficult engineering issue. The thickness of the F30 top mount is slim even compared to the 1M mount.
