Adjust Auto Headlight Sensitivity?

Does anyone know of a way to adjust at what sensitivity the headlights turn on? I always notice in the day time my headlights are on and I would just prefer the DRLs. I know I can just change the switch but I was curious if I could make the sensors less sensitive.

Thanks

Change Autoheadlight sensitivity:

Fembody => RLS_DEF_FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ

normal, empfindich (sensitive); unempfindich (insensitive); sehr_empfindich (very sensitive)

Does this include RDL sensitivity or just the normal lights ?

Not sure. There are actually 2 different codes:

RLS_DEF_FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ
RLS_FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ

I can't recall the difference.

Question here - Would anyone know if this is possible to do with BimmerCode? Would I go into Expert? I didn't see something in the front electric module that jumped out at me as being the headlight sensitivity, but I'd love to turn it down. Drives me nuts how often the headlights are triggered on.

Thanks!

I'll answer my own question here... BimmerCode does have the option in the screen it appears, it's labeled rain-light-sensor.. I changed the sensitivity to insensitive, and it appears to have done what I wanted it to.

Anybody knows if there is a way to make the dashboard illuminate independently from the headlights?

I don't like that the headlights come on as soon as I go an under pass and then take a while to turn off. However, I do like that the dashboard illuminates right away and I don't want to code away that part of the auto functionality.

The dash lights and headlights are tied together. Another frequently asked question is if you can code the dash lights to come on without the headlights. You can't.
