06 e90 Welcome light questions- -

Hi. My car is 2006 325i (Premium Pkg, with angel eyes and automatic headlight switch).

I was always jealous of the welcome lights on newer models. When unlock the car, the angel eyes comes on and the tail light comes on as well. Now I only get the door handle light comes on but no angle eyes or xenon.

I've done a lot of research on this. However, all the info are so confusing. I only have frm1. Someone says i need do some wiring, others says I can do some coding to enable this feature.

e.g.

wl_KZL is the rear license plate light
wl_sl_2 (I think) is the tail light
wl_NSL is the rear fog lights
wl_NSW is the front fog lights
soft_einschalten...
I'm so confused about all these...can anyone please clear up my mind? I really want to enable this feature.

Have any of you done this on a 2006 e90? I will be so appreciated if you can help me. Thanks very much.

You can't have this feature unless you upgrade your module..

you can, of course do it with hard wires and relays, but as cn555ic said, not with coding
