Cool Does DMS remap = de limit?

My 335d has had the DMS treatment, but I have now tried a top speed run 4 times.

On everytime it hits 160 on the speedo (the end of the speedo) then you can physically feel the car stop, and the revs do not increase.

It was still pulling nicely at 160 so I know it had a bit more in it, but the car is definatly still limited. You can feel, and it stops in the same place everytime.

Not a big problem, but I just assumed DMS treatment would also delimit?

Anyone comfirm for definate either way?

Cheers

Hi nev, they do 160 (indicated) stock....

i not sure if it equals a limiter delete with the DMS map

apparently CAA map does ''delete'' the limiter, try asking the CAA boys ie stevie A and Nick!!

how does the car compare anyhow bud?
what made you choose DMS?

Strange, what does a stock 335d do 0-100mph in?

I guess I just went to DMS because once I talked to Mike on the phone for 45 minutes I felt confident in the product.

I had never heard of CAA at that time

I think Autocar got it to 100 in 13.9 seconds.
Have you any reliable figures for 0-60 and 0-100 with the remap?

Ohh... and welcome to the 335d remap club

i beat autocars times

i did a 1/4mile of 13.9@102mph stock so therefore 0-100 in 13.5 if not quicker i rekon

autocar did 0-60 in 5.8 and 0-100 in 13.9

so i could quite safely say i did 0-60 in 5.5 on my best run, from a stick 335d.

i think PEPPERNICK said his re-mapped 335d did 0-100 in 11 seconds something:rocks:
