I'm planning on getting the OEM Performance Exhaust installed in my 328i. Those of you who have also got the PE installed, what did you do with the stock exhaust? Leave it at the shop or bring it back?

Put it in the rafter of the garage so you can sell the PE later when you trade up.

I read in another thread that the install of the PE involves some cutting of the original exhaust. I assume that even though some of it has been cut, you can always easily re-install at a later date?

Mine is sitting in my garage. I will pop it in the trunk when I go to trade the car in so I don't hear any whining about decreased trade in value.
