Bimmian headlight bulbs

Has anyone purchased HID H8 bulbs for the e92 headlights from Bimmian? Does it give out an error signal?

if its not led or some sort, it wont throw any errors based on my knowledge.

also, correction for the misuse of the term "hid"
hid = high intesity discharge
does normal h8 bulb equal to HID? nope!

Just make sure the wattage is equal to that of the stock bulbs and you won't throw an error...

and if its the same you wont burn up the wires either. I did this on my old toyta and it was a pain in the ass and cost good money for new wiring. In fact I just went and bought Xenons for it after this happened.

Yup, these are xenon bulbs, not HID.
