Good Driving Roads near Chicago?
Anyone know any good twisty roads to drive on in the western suburbs. Right now i'm in Naperville/Aurora. And I haven't found much of anything. The North East and west coast all have awesome roads. Midwest got shafted.

I've been in Chicago for 10 years, You gotta go to southern Wisconsin for any decent driving roads around here. I've taken my E90 as well as my motorcycle up there, great roads with lots of turns thru the countryside.

The only thing worth mentioning around here IMO is Sheridan up near Winnetka - some nice tree cover and somewhat curvy.
Just watch out for the cops though, they like to patrol that stretch...

My favorite road is actually 94 heading into chicago from the norther suburbs. there's basically no speed limit and you get a great view of the city. It's not as windy, but if you take the ohio exit (from the regular, not express) you can have a lot of fun.
Yeah I guess that's the extent of good driving roads around the city. I have fun on any road, though.

I have taken that ohio exit at about 110. It gets a little loose on the back end! My nieghbor is a cop in winnetka and she said she busts a lot of people flying around sheridan rd. If you go into mchenry county, they have some fresh roads out there that you can fly down. Otherwise, nothing too exciting.

County Highway I just at the Waukesha/Walworth county line in Wisconsin. About 1 mile of INCREDIBLE twisties and elevation changes, will make you sick if you take it twice. Always drive within the limit of course.
