Group Buy: CF splitters
Would anybody be interested in a GB for the CF splitters? I was thinking about getting them (and having them painted), but the price is a little too much. I have not talked to any suppliers, but wanted to see if there was interest and if it was worth me spending time to set up... |

It is the Carbon Fiber front air diffusers. They are OEM, and being as they are two seperate pieces that fit on the either side of the front of the bumper, they are sometimes referred to as splitters....

CF splitters
I might be interested, particularly if they could cover up an accidental parking ding. Out of curiosity, is it normal to paint them or to leave them as is, to show off the carbon fiber?

Right now, they are $460 from Pacific BMW. This is the lowest Ive seen them...
Im hoping to possibly get them down to $400. So far, Ive only seen one person paint theirs, but I think I will too because I dont think the CF will match my Monaco... This price of $460 obviously is the cost for them unpainted... |

Oh okay, They are 299.00 per each side. i could sell them for 227.24 each plus tax. But shipping would cost alot from florida.

tape, i might be in + local pick up!
iber, you DEFINITLY could paint this, a lot of people want to have theirs painted. it depends on what color car you have (carbon fiber clases with a lot of colors) and your personal preference. PLUS you have to dish out the extra money to have them painted

I'm very interested
How about someone making a replica out of ABS Plastic for the people who want to get them painted. I'm sure making a mold won't be too hard for the 2 pieces. |

im sure AT LEAST 10 people would need to want the ABS plasitic versoin to be able to get them made cheaper then it would cost for carbon fiber ones. and i seirously doubt that many people would want them when you can get carbon fiber.....
