Not a chance. I did my wheels and I have to be careful washing them as the dip comes off if youre not really careful.

Can you garantee the quality when doing this?

I am talking about applying it correctly like the dipyourcar.com guys. They use a process that really works well and truly sticks well to the paint (and lasts).

If so, I don't think it would be a bad idea to open one up. A lot of people here interested in these kind of things.

How many hours does it take to apply several coats and do an entire car? How much does the paint cost? I don't think $800-$1000 is reasonable but interested in a breakdown of time and materials.

I found these guys, give them a call and see how much they charge.

Just my .02 cents:

If I was going to platidip my car, I would buy the kit and do it myself. I wouldn't pay $800-1000 for it.

Okay look, there are some people in Toronto that I found out about. 2 of them quoted me 1250 on a 2009 Lexus IS250 and the other didn't answer.

I also do guarantee quality because the guy who does the painting for me has been painting cars with real paint for 35 years.

BTW, I have a BMW 335i, Lexus Something, Nissan Altima, Dodge RAM and Toyota Tundra lined up for this January with those prices already.
