The car is a week old today! only 355 mile on her and the brakes are squeaking?! Anyone have a similar experience? Are the brakes just so new that there breaking in that way? Need some feedback.

Thanks!

When i brake normal after driving I don't hear anything. Only hear a squeak when I'm pressing the brakes all the way and let go little by little to inch up in a small space. is that what you experience? Or is yours all the time when driving and coming to a stop?

Same situation, When I press the brakes ever so lightly like you said in traffic moving up an inch or two it will squeak.

What i found out is if you don't hold on the brake very far down, like just enough for the car to not move, then when you let go lightly to inch up it DOESN'T squeak.

As I said earlier, my Audi did this (and the dealer said it's normal) and now I'm noticing my AH3 (which presumably has similar brakes as the 335i) doing this too. I'm guessing they'll just tell me it's normal too.

Do you have the MSport? MSport has the Euro pads and this is more susceptible to squealing. Some say it goes away after 1K-2K miles of normal driving.

Nope, I have the luxury line ActiveHybrid 3, no sport features.
