Repair work (Dealer in So-Cal) Past experiences?
Hello Guys! I'm here in so-cal and I wanted to take my car in for the wastegate rattle I'm experiencing (Hoping to get the turbo's replaced). I have an appointment for Monday at McKenna BMW in Downey, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with any other dealers in so-cal? The reason I ask is because I have a BMW DCI and Catless downpipes as well as a Muffler Delete, and I don't want a cheesy dealership that panics once they see something that's not OEM, I've read about dealers not having any issues but there are a few cases of which there was? Any insight?
Thanks! |

Not a problem, but i would advise putting on stock dps before taking it in, not sure how they would respond to that being on there for turbo warranty work They wont care about the dci or muffler delete for sure though

Going in with catless downpipes and trying to get turbos replaced is stupid. Before you drop off your car, why not call and tell your SA what mods you have and what your looking to get. That way you wont waste your time or theirs.
