330i quote, what do you think?

I got a quote from a local dealer over the internet. This was his first offer, and to be honest it was a bit lower than I expected. So what do you think

Ti Silver - Black interior with Poplar trim
2006 330i 6 spd manual - Sport, Premium, Sun Shades, Comfort Access, Metallic Paint, Fold down seats.

$1000 over invoice + $330 MACO
Lease: 36 months 12K year $0 down
$1861.00 Drive off and $557 month including tax.
-OR-
$950.00 Drive off and $584 month including tax.

The difference is the lease acquisition cost either paying it as part of the drive off, or as part of the cap cost on the car.

Looks good to me!

Matt,
I negotiated $750 over invoice for a total price of $40,500 (Sports, navigation, Comfort, Sat prep, heated seats, metallic paint) for my car via lease with 15k per year for 3 years. My total cost is less per month including CT tax at 6% with the $1,900 down (no cap cost reduction though). Make certain you get the following:
Negotiated sales price
Money factor .00195 for November
Residual value 62% for 15k per year, its better for 12k

Unless I am mistaken, you should have a slightly better payment than I do.
Andy

You should be able to beat $1330 over invoice.

He marked up the money factor a bit from .00195, which I expected. The monthly payment is in the range I expected, and so I dont think I am going to bust his balls over a few dollars a month.

I will just make sure he includes floor mats and see if he will throw in the poplar shift knob so I wont have the silver knob with wood trim!

Of course this whole deal is contingent upon them taking my current car in before the lease is up... which might cause them to eat a little cost, so all in all I think its a pretty good deal.

money factor is the interest rate used for leases. Basically it is the interest rate in % divided by 2400, so .00195 * 2400 = 4.68%

I was thinking about that, but after seeing mine, I think the silver knob probably looks better than a wood one will. Especially since there are other silver touches in the interior.

Dont let him mark up the money factor. Just ask and they should reduce it.

Decent deal. No reason that I see to spend your time to run around to get an additional $300 - $400 off on a $40,000 car--but it looks like he's sneaking in $200 on the lease acquisition--BMWFS charges $625.

Thanks for all the responses but it looks like the deal is off,

They are not able to get me out of my current lease without me having to pay about $1000. I am not going to do that, so I guess I will have to wait until my lease is up
