hey guys, trying to a idea whats going on here? Last night i was racing this STI at a open road, half of the way of the race, the car throw me a check engine light, fuel was cutted, and i had proceed installed, first time happend to me. Tuned the car off, and on , checking light is gone. any idea? Was it becuase of the over heatting, that was the second race back to back. And the funny thing was the STI also got the check engine light as well, first time for him too!!! thx

Was it the light that looked like a half full icon that said engine malfunction, reduced power? If so you may need to use the Lower Boost Target map. I have got the light a few times and a simple restart clears it.

Try to go replicate the situation. Run your car hard in every gear. Do you have the oil cooler? this happened to me once, and never happened again. If it happens agian, then ya might wanna try the LBT map. Also, which version are you currently running?

When you said the fuel was cut, what do you mean? Do the engine suddenly buck or did it just reduce in power? If it bucked/hiccupped, then you might be dealing with a bad fuel pump. If it just lost power and threw the yellow half engine light, it was because your car didnt achieve the desired boost target. The fix is to upload the LBT version of the v1.47 map.

I had the same issue my friend...LBT maps corrects it.

Even though I'm not so sure that LBT is equaly powerful to the original map

it's running less boost - that's what Lower Boost Target means...

Seems to be a lot of issues still with PROcede, is V2 going to be more reliable than previous versions?

All the variables were basically the same.

just make sure u r running the v1.47 map. Earlier maps would trigger misfire diagnotics in some cars during low rpm cruise conditions. Might only happen once every thousand miles. But it is a known issue. One that we didnt find until a few hundred procedes were om the road. V1.47 fixes this completely.

The ONLY other known issue has to do with some cars in certain conditions not being able to reach the desired boost target at high rpm. This does not apply to you. But if it did, you would want to load in the LBT version of the v1.47 map. Thats about it.

I have the V1.47...I just got my procede June21 with literature saying 1.47..But if your saying it could be a freak thing, then i will get back to you if it happens again...If vacumm hoses are lose will this cause it to Cel...But than again i told you i drove it hard after and it was normal, if they were loose than underload it would of definately happened again...Some insight Shivs?

Cant really remember how it looks exactly but it was a engine icon.I had the proceed installed for about a month now(just uploaded v1.47 two weeks ago), i was driving or "racing" like usual. By the fuel was cutted meaning the car was still driveable but with less power, i can still give the gas till i was safely stop on the side of the road. and the light was gone after i restared the car. Anyways, i guess LBT is the solution right, thx for the help guys.
