AG 310s powder coated blue for winter wheels...

Well, after being an annoying forum member for about a month now I finally have the new "winter" wheels on. LOL. Ive asked many fitment questions and I thank everyone that helped. I wanted to do something different for the winter since a friend sold me the avant garde 310s so cheap. So I had them powder coated in a darkish blue. Im not totally sure how to describle the color. But it has a black chrome base coat and 2 coats of candy blue on top. The second coat of candy blue was to make the wheels a bit darker in blue color. THese wheels are off an e46 M3 so the rears are a bit aggressive at +22 offset so the fronts need spacers immediately. LOL Not sure what size yet but a must. Im sure this look isnt for everyone but I just wanted to do something different for a few months. I apologize for the horrible pictures but the weather was terrible and they were taken with a camera phone. Ill have better pics soon. Please let me know your opinions.

Haha your not kidding about the phone lol I thought it had a decent camera at 8mp but no good haha. It was a pretty crappy day today and I couldnt get any decent pics. The only way I could get the color of the wheels in the pic was by turning the brightness up. So the pics look well, like garbage... Ill get better pics soon. Im sure alot of people wont like the wheel setup, but I was just going for something odd for a few months lol. I really need spacers for the front wheels though. I know the best way to get the correct spacers is by measuring, but while Im typing what size would everyone recommend for a 19x8.5 wheel +35 with 225/35/19 tires? I know 235/35/19s are recommended but they were backordered so I went 225/35 and its definately a bit stretched.

Nice color choice on the wheels. Don't know what's brighter? Your wheels or your paint job? Lol

Oh, I thought you had that new vinyl wrap called Reflective Alpine White, lol...yeah, I know your paint job is fine. Ever thought of painting your calipers a color to really color coordinate your wheel area?

So how's the rear fitment?

Are those winter tires since you say winter wheels, or just all season tires?

Haha sorry, they are all season tires. Last winter I just used the run flats which kind of got me through the winter. So I figured Id just use these wheels with all season tires for the winter this year. But the rear fitment so far seems perfect. Honestly I dont know how it doesnt rub. I cant even get a finger between the tire and wheel well. I havent heard it rub when hitting bumps yet. I guess the fender roll did the job. Thank you for your help when I PMed you.

Thanks man. Yeah I think the black or white cars can kind of pull the color wheels off. I didnt want to go overboard and I like how they turned out.

Yeah the calipers do look crappy. Id say go for powder coating your wheels. I got lucky and got these wheels dirt cheap at $300 so it was a no brainer for me. I still spent some money on tires and powder coating, but in the end I got a $1300 set of wheels for $300. I was thinking of alot of different colors to be different and a few just were over the top. I decided on this blue because its not a "crazy" color in my opinion but its different.
