Depends on how hard she hit u. Looks like its cosmetic from the picture. The actual bumper is slightly to the left where the bumper cover didn't break off. New bumper cover, headlight washer, oil cooler, paint etc... Can be done in 3 weeks . Depends on the body shop and the availability of the parts needed.

A miracle indeed that no one got seriously injured. The exterior damage seems confined to your front bumper, thankfully it looks like the plastic fender is still intact as well as your headlight. A new metal bumper, oil cooler and cosmetic front bumper shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks to order and install.

I can emphatize with you on the downtime without your car. Mine's been at the paint shop for the last 3 weeks

Really sorry this happened, but praise god everyone involved got off cheaply. Motorcycle accidents can get nasty quickly.

Also, look on the bright side. You live in a place called Tampon Springs. That's something to smile about

Well I guess that AT cooler project is going to be put on hold. Sorry for your loss.

By the looks of the damage, I'd say you'll be back up and running in time for your track session.

bumper, headlight, oil cooler, electronics. Looks like your hood and fender survived any damage, doesn't look too bad to me.

It does suck and hopefully their insurance takes care of it.

Yes they are. Just came back from a long 4 hr drive and its been 2 weeks since my last wash. The whole car is filthy. But I still love it...
Glad I could shed some light on the situation!

At least you'll be able to clean them, unlike your bumper....lol

No biggie, $$ will fix everything. Unfortunately the lady with the broken hip can't say the same. What would you have done if it was a 20-something male?

It's sad to see this happen. It could of always been worse, but I know this saying does not help.

I'm currently recovering from my motorcycle crash which only happened 47 days ago. It was the same as yours except the exact opposite. I was on my Ducati 1198SP, waiting at a red light and was rear ended by a blond 18 year old high school girl. Who never saw the red light. I broke 3 bones in my shoulder, 1 arm, 1 hand, 4 teeth, and bite nearly half my tongue off. Including 2 corrective surgeries and 3 metal plates in my shoulder. It was a life changing experience to say the least.

I'm sorry to see your car messed up. But it will be fixed with just some money/time. Unfortunately for myself, I can't say the same.

Take Care.

Oh man, so sorry to hear that. Really puts things in perspective. I sold my Ducati in March because as fun as it was, the risks just weren't worth it. You can be doing everything right and just get railroaded.

That blonde chick owes you big time. I think an appropriate sentence would be free BJ's for life with no parol

This is one of the reasons why I don’t ride on the street anymore. Here around the Nations Capital, they drive like Neanderthals….Imagine that!

It is unfortunate, but it could have been a lot worse. If that woman did break her pelvis (WOW) I hope she is alright. That is a pretty serious injury.

About six weeks ago I was stopped, waiting to make a left turn across traffic, and some guy just plowed into the back of my Maxima doing about 40-45 mph. He didn't even brake; said he "just looked down for a second." The accident gave my girlfriend a concussion and a bruised rib. I fared better, and ended up with a BMW.

People are crazy. I think driving tests should be more difficult considering what you are doing is propelling a multi-thousand pound battering ram across the earth with enough energy to kill large numbers of people. Fools don't give driving the respect it deserves. Even if it is a motorcycle, you can still end up hurting many more people than just yourself.
