Hankook V12- do you like them?

The Hankook V12 tires seem to be showing up on quite a few of the aftermarket wheel/tire setups on F30post, and I just got a quote for M5 reps from **********s with the V12s-- just wondering if anyone has any specific comments/concerns/complaints about them. In this TireRack comparison test of value-priced performance tires, the Hankooks were ranked the lowest of the four they tested. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=149

Would love to hear some owner impressions.

I had them on my VW GLI. They replaced the stock all-season Pirelli Neros. The ride quality was impeccable and much quieter than the Neros. Grip level also increased but they seemed to wear pretty quickly. My car was lowered so that may have accelerated the wear, but the Conti DWS I put on after didn't seem to have as much of an issue.

I pronounce it "Beemer" and turn my fog lights on even when it's not foggy.

Interesting review by tirerack but personally I liked the V12's. I thought they provided good enough feedback at the limit so they must be criticizing something specific. That review really puts the dunlops on a high pedestal.

My idea of a good tire honestly is something that doesn't chunk and lasts more than a few track days in case I am too lazy to switch wheels and the v12's fit the bill.
