Rock chip on BMW 328i
I was driving on a freeway and a stone hit the windshield. Not a big crack but noticeable chip like a star. I am concerned that it might grow so want to get it repaired. Could anyone please suggest some good repair shops in south bay area and how much would be the cost?

Old thread but anyone out there in this situation, definitely get it repaired as soon as possible!
These windshields with the auto-wiper detection are pricey unfortunately

My dealership, Peter Pan BMW recommended Bullseye Glass Repair (650 533-0000). Mike came to my house to repair my windshield. I asked him to repair my other car as well and he's asking for $50. Pay cash and you'll get it cheaper. He did a great job on both of my cars.

I just got a rock chip yesterday. It seems pretty deep to me, and there are small black marks in the glass around the chip too. I'm afraid that even after the repair I'll notice the mark, and it's pretty much directly in my line of site. That's going to drive me crazy, and I'm thinking I might just replace the windshield. Is that crazy?
