2012 F30 Winter Tires

Does anyone know if 225/50 R18 will fit on the 2012 335 x drive? i know tire rack recommends 225 45 r18 just a slight difference. Maybe someone can shed some light
Thanks.

That mean 3,3% difference. That huge and can cause small trouble with you ABS, stability control... Better to go with 215 50r18 or 235 45r18 if you dont find your size in your tire brand.

If I have the wheel and tire warranty through BMW, would that carry over to my winter set if I also purchased the winter set through BMW?

I believe so. I remember when my dad got that insurance they said it covers any wheel on the car.
