2013 328 Xdv Classic Edition?
!!!!!!!!39,990 !!!!!!!!!!!!
I was in the market for a new F30 328i awhile ago, not very successful cuz i couldn't knock the price down to a desired level since it's a new model and all. Until I came across this AD. Igore the monthly lease payment, look on the small fine print, it stats this classic edition starts at 39,990. I couldn't see this "classic edition" from BMW.ca's website. However I did call the dealer, and got confirmation that this edition does exist, and it does start at 39,990 which is cheaper than the 328i rear wheel drive. althought he couldn't comment what options it comes with, I m assuming probably no sunroof, no xenon etc. That means you can own a barebone 328 with xdrive, for low 40ks out the door, with some haggling!! I believe this "Classic Line" is the equivalent of a 328i xDrive Baseline in the US which lists at $38,500 USD

I have not heard of this promotion (I ordered my 335xi in July), the MSRP on a regular 328xi is $46,200 so what exactly does the regular 328xi for $46,200 have that the $39,990 328xi model does not have?

I just did a quick search and 2 things that I found so far that the 328 xdrive classic line has that the regular 328 xdrive does not is leatherette and only 17" wheels........and if as photoman has mentioned that it is the same as the baseline 328 xdrive from the US there are no sport seats, no xenons, and no moonroof, so it seems to be pretty stripped down but a decent price.

My 2012 has most of these features and I think if you were to add these, it will end up costing more than what I paid for my 2012 328i luxury line. The only thing I had added was the premium package which already has comfort access, alarm system, PDC, navigation etc |

The xenon lights I can add as options for $1200 and I think I'm ok with not having a sunroof. However I would love to have comfort access which isn't even an option....

Response to CanadianDriver.
I have ordered one, rational for the purchase was it fit my check boxes; *under $40k *x drive *room for kids in the back seat *resale value (bmw) *wife's car and she liked the feel (steering) vs. a Demo e90 *Not and Audi (I have had issues with them) *better mileage then the e90 (non-turbo) *best looks in class. Have not seen one in person, hoping it arrives before Nov, Sept build date. |

I talked to my sales rep. He did confirm that the 328 Classic will look like the 320i. Forgot to ask if it's a twin tailpipe or a single. It has smaller wheels and leatherette, notably.

I didn't select any options (only option was heated steering wheel) as I just picked a car that was already in build queue from the dealer. My wife is anxious and going this route cut down on wait time or I would have bought the e90 if it was going to take much longer.
The only option I would have selected if we (she) could wait the extra time was the light package. The Smaller rims will be converted in to winters and larger 19's purchased for summers. Other than this it fits the bill. |
