Remove Iphone integration

I just purchased a 2010 335d with the iphone 3 built in adapter that takes up the whole center console. I'd rather have the storage space. Does anyone know how to remove this? The dealership actually suggested a new center console.

I KNOW that isn't necessary. I just need to know how to do it. Thanks.

No but I think the dealer is full of crap having to buy a new center console lol would probably cost an arm and leg. Smh... Typical Bmw dealership trying to rob you

Removing the adapter can't be that difficult. I just need a little knowledge. Thanks guys.
