Navigation & Address book. :(

Whats the deal. I just noticed it this morning coming home from starbucks when I went to make a phone call.

A-half of J displays but after that its just ...

I cant see any of my recent dials. I went to call my friend and it only displayed his number not his name on my nav. I turned my car off and went inside the grocery to buy food for tomorrows BBQ. Came back out 30 mins later thinking maybe it was a glitch and it would work once I turned the car back on.. Now it wont display anything past B.

Called a technician at BMW and he wants to disconnect the battery. Has this happened to anyone else?

I just tried deleting my phone and re pairing it.... Now its only displaying A-half of C contacts. This is definitely a love -hate relationship with this car.

I've had that issue in pre-LCI cars. Has to do with certain contacts syncing when you've got a lot of different accounts synced for all your contacts. For some reason, my wife's hotmail account caused the parser to choke. Not sure what that was all about, but after I removed that from my contact sync list, I stopped having the issues.

Ive had this car 13 months. I dont see why I'd be having an issue of all a sudden. Nothing changed with my work email or anything.

If someone changes their contact info, you still probably sync periodically. You don't have to do anything on your end to inject the problem. However, it very well could be something else; I was just chiming in because your issue reminded me a lot of my issue. Very frustrating and you're on your own to figure it out as far as the entities involved are concerned. Everybody (i.e. BMW and Phone OS) is going to claim the issue isn't on their end.
