Don't need the coffee, give me PROCEDE!!

Just wanted to put my comments in about the Procede.

In a word, WHOOAAAAAAAAA!

Your heart just jumps out as you're being hurdled forward. At that point, I ALMOST felt like there could be too much power. Until you do it again, then you find it addictive. The crazy part is that I was not at full throttle.

If you're on the fence about this, you bought this car to enjoy power and handling. In my opinion, the car's handling is plenty for the the street. You could say that for the power too until you install the Procede. You then realize this is what the 335i should have been. THIS is the car you paid for.

Thanks to Dustin who guided me on my cell while on speakerphone while I grunted and cursed trying to reconnect the ECU connectors for what seemed like 20 min. For the most part, everything is what is on the video except the proper way to connect the large/small ECU connectors. I think Shiv explained it pretty well on a thread from today.

Heart still racing . . .

Sajid

Just for the ECU connectors? I thought everyone was doing the entire job in about 8 minutes?

Was a joke. Took me 90 minutes last week with a friend helping. Most of the extra time was spent being careful not to break anything. The first time you don't know the appropriate amount of force to use.
10 minutes of the 90 was spent fitting the rubber hoses around that joiner thing. What's the trick to get those to go on faster? And that plastic joiner thing needs to be stronger. I know, moot with 2.0...
If I did it again, it would probably take 30 minutes.

Yeah we wasted time clearing error codes b/c my friend can't count to 10. Figure next time 20-30 easy... Plan extra time for your first install.

^Quick ?. I see you have the 2nd cooler installed. Should get mine back Monday. Do you notice better temps and by how much? And, is the exhaust note louder since the install? Thanks.

It takes me 15 minutes to get the tools, walk to the car and smoke a cig before I start ...

To be honest if you take time you will do it in 30-40 minutes. I need longer thus I do it relaxed. Hey, I'm not paid for this job .

For the first install you will need more time.

Cheers
Eugen

Anyone here took on an E60 m5 with a 335Pro?

It should be a pretty close race but with him pulling up high...unless you are at a high altitude then you should beat him maybe
