took the long way home yesterday

Was on my way home and heard a tractor trailer overturned at one of the bridges...in a move of self-preservation (aka hours delay), I banged a U-E on the interstate and headed for another bridge, which turned in an adventure, of course.

Funny thing, because it was in the BMW, the ride was enjoyable--I was telling myself if I were in the other two cars I would have been angry. Decided to check google maps to see--it was 7 miles out of my way on a normal 21 mile commute...."at least I'm enjoying the ride."

Somebody asked me once why i drive my jewel everyday 60 miles. My answer was that i would hate the drive without it...
